Zionist work from A. Dob” à"ãåá"á [Aryeh Dov Ber Borenstein]. There is a half-title page [Hebrew], a German title page, Das “Vav Conversum” von Aufleben des Volkes Israel im Lande seiner Urväter (reviving the Jewish people in the land of their fathers), and a Hebrew title page with essentially the same information. There is a decorative grey tone page with a portrait of Herzel, and several vignettes of varied scenes, from a Jew plowing the land, an altar, the Heichal with the menorah, angels, cannons, and an office with a map of Israel. The book is dedicated to Benjamin Zev (Theodore) Herzl, in which the author explains why he has hidden his name. There are several prefatory remarks, and an introduction, the text, is in a single column in square Hebrew letters, begins on p. 39. The book concludes with errata. The text is comprised of a large number of wide ranging subjects, among them interpretations of Shema, Psalms, Onkelos ha-Ger, and cleaving to the Shehinah.
