R. Marcus Heimann Seligsberg of Bayersdorf (in Bayern), who was a teacher in Fellheim. R. Seligsberg was the author of numerous other titles, including, Kohelet Mussar and Tehilat Yah (called Halleluyah). These essays are geared to enlighten the reader to the path to fear and worship (of the L-rd). The end of the book contains a letter to the reader wherein the author describes his pain and sorrow, and yet his faith, at the loss of his son, Yitzhak (Isadore).
