Description
   A volume on metrics and rhythmics of Hebrew poetry, written by Ernst Heinrich Meier (1813-1866), an Orientalist who was a professor of Semitic languages and literature at the Univeristy of Tübingen. He is also the author of many other books, including Die ursprüngliche Form des Dekalogs (Mannheim, 1846) Deutsche sagen, sitten und gebräuche aus Schwaben (Stuttgart, 1852), Schwäbische volkslieder mit ausgewählten melodien (Berlin, 1855), et. al.
