Description
   Monthly rabbinic journal encompassing explanations, novellae, and insightful discourses on both the Babylonian and Jerusalem Talmuds, as well as the works of early and later sages, edited by R. Isaac Sternhall. In addition, the journal includes important contemporary responsa from current leading rabbis and sages. Thjis issue, volume three number three, for Nissan-Iyyar 1937. The contents contains six discourses, numbers seventy-nine through eighty-four, on whether it is permissible to taste something prior to mussaf by R. E. Mishal of Turka; a responsa on the subject of mezuzah by the gaon of Drthbitsch; a siyyum on tractate Meilah by R. Bloom; whether there is Temurah by thought; a pipul on Hullin 37 by R. Shapira; and a responsa concerningf the use of electricity on Shabbat by R. Epstein. The text is in square letters in two columns. The verso of the front cover and both sides of the back cover have advertisements, giving a taste of the time.
