 p., 272:215 mm., light age staining, creased on folds, ink on stationary, neat Ashkenazic script (scribe), signed by the Rebbe and dated.
Letter by R. Josef Zvi b. Simeon Kalisz (1886-1957), Admor of Skernowitz. The Rebbe served in Kretshov and became Admor upon the passing of his father. He was also the President of the Agudat Israel in Warsaw. The Rebbe immigrated to Erez Israel in 1934 and settled in Bnei Brak where he led a large group of his disciples. An pious and erudite scholar, he was well liked and attracted many followers. The Rebbe passed on on Rosh Hodesh Adar A' and was laid to rest in Tiberius, his grave site attracts thousands of visitors each year.
