Passover haggadah with commentary Zeved Tov by R.. Joseph ben David Genasia âðàñééä. The title page states that it is a Passover haggadah with Arabic translation (in Hebrew letters) and the commentary Zeved Tov. R. Genasia entitled the work Zeved Tov because because that title is comprised of his father’s name David and his mother’s name Zehira. It is his prayer that this work should be to their benefit, and other relatives whom he names, in Gan Eden. On the verso of the title page is the benedictions for the search for hanetz, followed by the ordere of the Passover plate. The text of the Haggadah is in square vocalized Hebrew. Immediately below it in unvocalized square letters is the Arabic translation. At the bottom of the page is the commentary, which is detailed and comprehensive. The haggada is followed by adeenda, an explanation of the abbreviations in the text, and then a long list of other works by R. Genasia. The end of the volume is in French and lists publications on the Rambam.
