   Letter by R. Jeroham Asher b. Solomon Jacob Warhaftig (1873-1965), rabbi and scholar. R. Warhaftig was born in Piaski, a suburb of Vilna, and educated in Lithuanian yeshivot. He emigrated to Erez Israel in 1933 and settled in Jerusalem. He wrote Divre Jeroham (Bilgoraj 1931) halkhic novellae to the four parts of the Shulhan Arukh; Shalme Jeroham (Jerusalem 1941) novellae to the Rambam, laws of Kutshim; Hiddushe Jeroham (Jerusalem 1945) novellae to the Rambam; Bet Jeroham (Jerusalem 1948) novellae to the Rambam; Imre Jeroham (Jerusalem 1951) novellae on Gaonic literature; Olat Jeroham (Jerusalem 1954) novellae on Gaonic literature; Darke Jeroham (Jerusalem 1956) novellae on Gaonic literature; many articles in periodic rabbinical journals.
