Description
   Only editon of this work on Hebrew grammar and word structure by Hayyim Karitz. There is a dedication to Noah Sobatinsky from the author and an introduction from him in which he refers to the inspection of zealous censors (inspectors). Ma’arkhei – Lashon is written in a clear and lucid style. The author begins with a discussion of speech and how it is used by people and proceeds to discuss the parts of speech accompanied by occasional charts of conjugations. At the end of the book is a list of Hebrew words and their Yiddish equivalents, ending with a page of errata.
