   Only edition. 32 pp., octavo, 195:140 mm., usual browning, not bound.
   Tale describing the difficult life of Jews. The story is told in four chapters. The main protagonists are Shimshon Napha, large man and blacksmith by profession, and his wife Nehama. They are barren, the central theme of the story, and, in addition to their personal misfortune, undergo numerous other trials, for example, their house burns down. By the end of the story Shimshon and Nehama have made two weddings.

Akar ve-Akarah was published by Yehudah Leib Rabinovich (1862–1937) at the press of S. Sokolovski. Rabinovich served as editor of Ha-Meliz and later contributed articles to the Jewish press in the United States.
