Broadside, 558:444 mm., edges frayed, partially backed. Rare - only one other known copy sold at auction several years ago. No copy in major libraries or collections.
Colored lithograph with a splendid picturesque description of various scenes in the life of the patriarch, Isaac. The plate is divided into four horizontal panels in which the life of Isaac is depicted in an impressive manner beginning with the story of the sacrifice. At the top of the plate: a cupola that bears the inscription: "the Sacrifice of Isaac". The drawings are framed in architectural columns.
