Anna Ticho was born in Austria but emigrated to Palestine in 1912, and then lived and worked in Jerusalem from 1919. The development of her delicately wrought images is described and depicted here by Elisheva Cohen, then Chief Curator of the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. Numerous diagrams are interspersed in text, along with musical scores. The oft lacking 45 rpm record is stored inside back cover. Tan cloth. 129 pp. 261 bw, 8 color plates. Binding is hardcover with dustjacket in protective plastic.
