Vincente Bacallar y Sanna, Marquess of San Felipe; (1669-1726) politician, soldier, and Spanish historian. He wrote the Commentaries of the war of Spain and history of his king, Felipe V (1725), important by the abundance of data contained therein; Hebrew Monarchy (1719) on the history of the Jews; and the Fable of Echo and Narcissus, the Marquess of Castelnovo.
